Hey babes! Since I’ve started Project Pan, I’ve been way more conscious about the makeup products I own and buy, or mostly don’t buy anymore! I haven’t really bought anything new since my holiday in the UK. I had a ridiculously big stash of beauty, skin and hair care products and I was stuck in an unhealthy cycle of buying and not using things! I have been cleaning out my stash these past few months by really using my products, taking time for self care and beauty, donating anything I don’t like and tossing out the things that were getting old and nasty! By doing this I’ve really reduced my stash but I’ve also rediscovered some items that I forgot I liked! Here they are..
City Color Cosmetics Be Matte Blush
This product isn’t that old but it’s a really cheap blush I once bought to get free shipping from a website (a habit I’ve since killed!). Even though I really liked it when I initially tried it out, I hadn’t been using it at all lately. It’s a beautiful colour that I love to use on a daily basis. The pigmentation isn’t too strong or too weak and it blends really well with my powder and bronzer!

Milani Amore MATtalics Lip Creme Chromatic Addict
This is a lip colour I bought on a whim and I kind of regretted it, until I was cleaning out my stash and decided I really wanted to give it a good go, outside in the real world and I loved it! It doesn’t wash me out, it’s quite unique but it doesn’t look too weird, I still feel very comfortable while wearing it! I’ve also been loving this as a little extra shine on top of other colours.

Boiing Concealer Benefit
I love the coverage of this concealer but it had ended up somewhere in a dark corner of my drawers! It covers up my dark circles and hyperpigmentation amazingly and I now like using it in combination with a little drop of chamomile oil. It tends to crease a little around the eyes if you don’t hydrate and set it well but it’s not that noticeable!

Yves Rocher Sexy Pulp Mascara
I was in need of a new daily mascara and I forgot I had gotten this one for free, I’ve been using it a lot lately and I love the volume it gives my lashes! I’m not the biggest fan of the way it washes off and crumbles sometimes but that’s not a big issue during the day obviously. Usually with thick wands like this one, it gets on my eyelid but this one doesn’t do that!

Essence Make Me Brow
This is a really cheap, amazing dupe for the Benefit Gimme Brow! And Essence is a cruelty free company so that’s the biggest perk on top of the price. I forgot about this because I had gotten the Benefit one and had been mostly using that because it suited my hair colour better at the time. Now that I’m back to dark muted brown, this one is perfect again!

Colourpop Eyeshadow Wattles
I have a bunch of Colourpop eyeshadows that I found so beautiful but I ended up never using them. Wattles is a colour I now love using all over my lid for a daily natural look. I just use my finger and apply it like that. I’ve been much more confident about using Colourpop shadows lately, they’re super pigmented, but I’ve ventured outside of my comfort zone!

Yves Rocher Eye Pencil
I got this pencil along with the same one in a different colour, a more dark one which I love using for smoky looks. But this colour had gotten a little lost in my stash. I line my eyes with this and leave my eyelid very neutral, it’s very light brown and a little reflective which makes it look almost a little golden.

Kiko Lipstick
I have a bunch of these Kiko lipsticks that I used to love but since I’ve had many of my MAC lipsticks, these have lost their appeal to me. I especially love the nude colours because I wear them often but I have some darker ones that I’ve actually been wearing during the day as well! These have a matte formula but aren’t to dry and the packaging is so beautiful!

Those are some of the awesome products I already had and rediscovered! I’ve basically been shopping in my own stash every time I have the urge to buy something new and I definitely recommend everyone to do the same if you have a big collection of makeup!

Thanks again for reading!
xoxo Christine

  1. I used to buy a lot of lipsticks but now my stash has grown a bit too big, so I'm trying not to buy any now. And I didn't know Essence was cruelty free!
