Hey babes! I reviewed the Klorane Eye Patches in a guest blog on The Pink Perfectionist but since that was in Dutch, I thought I’d feature them on my blog as well. And I didn’t want to do the exact same post, so when I got a Sephora Eye Mask from a friend, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to do a Face Off!

These Klorane Eye Patches contain cornflower and relieve any puffiness underneath the eyes, they reduce fine lines and generally feel really nice and cool. When I use these I feel like the bags under my eyes are much more hydrated and a little tighter. They are really easy to apply and not wet at all, so they aren’t messy. They only cover the area underneath your eyes and don’t really go around.

The Sephora Eye Mask is extremely wet, when you open the packaging it almost leaks out. This makes it a little more difficult to apply. You have to remove a thin layer of foil but the patches are very thin so it’s quite messy. These patches go around your eyes which I like because I have dry skin all around my eyes. These patches feel really cool and relaxing, and the green tea definitely moisturizes as well. Afterwards you can ‘tap’ the leftover liquid, and it doesn’t feel sticky.

Both of these eye patches feel great, but the Sephora mask feels extremely cool and very soothing on the skin. I do believe the Klorane mask would be better if you already have some fine lines or more mature skin. If I would have to pick one, I’d pick the Sephora mask because I really enjoy the cooling sensation. Klorane however is a cruelty free brand, and I would rather support that.

Do you ever use an eye mask? Tell me in the comments!

Thanks for reading!
xoxo Christine
