Hey babes, I decided to start a monthly blogpost where I review items of 1 brand, whether they are new or if I had them laying around, it’s kind of a twist on my mini hauls but now I can show you other products I already had as well!

This month I decided to review some H&M beauty items because they are so affordable and I’ve heard a lot of people talk about them, I gave away one of the eyeshadows a year ago so obviously I already knew the eyeshadows are great!

The 3 eyeshadow shades I bought are Secret Sphinx, Sahara Caravan and Ginger Snap.

Ginger snap immediately caught my eye so I decided to pick out a base shade and a transition shade so I could use these 3 to create an eye look!

I have to take a moment to appreciate the packaging of the H&M products, it’s so beautiful and classic! It is made out of a light plastic though so you don’t get that luxurious feeling, but that makes these great to travel with!

The pigmentation is amazing, the matte shades are quite chalky so a little fallout is expected, the shimmer shade is a little creamier. The swatches I made are just one layer with my finger! They glide on super smoothly and blend great as well!

They retail for €5,99, which isn’t that cheap but it’s still affordable!

I also picked out a lipstick because I was very curious, I chose Sandstorm. These retail for €9,99.

I’ve been looking for the perfect nude and I thought I had found it, turns out it’s a little more muted brown than I expected it to be, but I still love it!

The finish is creamy but pigmented, it can get a tiny bit streaky if you don’t pay attention but nothing bad! It unfortunately didn’t last that long on me but for such a creamy lipstick, I don’t expect more than a few hours.

As you can see it’s quite brown on the skin, but this will look great when I’m more tanned!

The last thing I picked out is a gold flake top coat which is so beautiful! It’s something I’ve been looking for and this one is actually great. With only 1 or 2 layers you get a lot of coverage!

The only thing I don’t like about it, is that it’s impossible to get off. It’s really difficult to remove even with acetone. You end up removing any nail polish underneath and the flakes stick to your nails. I might try a different base coat or a peel off base coat to make this nail polish work!!

I’m really excited to try more H&M products, I’m very surprised and especially love the pigmentation of the eyeshadows!

Tell me in the comments which brands you would like me to check out! They can be popular, indie, cheap, more expensive,,..!

Thanks for reading!
xoxo Christine
