Hello babes! I was at Primark a while ago and noticed they have a lot of super cheap beauty products so obviously I wondered whether they are any good, I tried some products out and reviewed them!

The first thing that caught my eye were these Duo Sticks, one is contour and has a lighter shade and a darker one, the other stick is a blush and highlight combo. I had never seen a product like this so I was very intrigued.

The colours seemed light enough for me although I was a little concerned about the contour shade because it looked like a bronzer colour and the blush was quite bright as well.

I have to be honest, these sticks are horrible. The cream texture is too thick and heavy on the skin. It’s not blendable at all, if you use this over a layer of foundation, the foundation just comes right off while blending (even when using a beautyblender). It looked awful on my skin and I took off my makeup immediately, most of the product stuck to my beautyblender and wasn’t easy to wash out.

The shape these stick come in is a little strange, while using them I struggled with using them because I always ended up mixing both instead of using the stick a little slanted to get one side’s colour. I also wonder, if you would use these stick frequently, one end would be used up quick which would be inconvenient.

The face powder however is alright! It’s not amazing but for its price it’s actually okay. This is a great powder for teens or people on a budget, I obviously have better powders but I’ll continue using this probably.
The little sponge is kind of useless, I just use this powder with a powder brush or kabuki.

I picked up 3 eyeshadows because they are so cheap, I really regret buying the green one because I’ll probably never use it. These aren’t very pigmented and they don’t blend very well. The golden eyeshadow is actually a pretty highlight and the pink one could be used as a blush if it were a little more blendable because it’s quite bright.

I’ll try these out a little more, maybe with a wet brush but they’re not very good at all. The green shade isn’t a pretty colour on the skin either. I’m definitely keeping the golden eyeshadow as a highlight.

Here are the swatches of the eyeshadows.

This glitter polish is actually super pretty! It chips very fast so you should use a good base and topcoat and apply a few layers. I recommend using this on 1 accent nail so you can touch up any chips. I’m going to check out some of the other glitter polishes because they apply really easily and smooth so they would be fun to use for nail art.
That’s it! I’ll probably won’t buy any Primark beauty items again besides the nail polishes!
Thanks for reading!
xoxo Christine
